In the semi-final of the Champions League, Juve defeated Real Madrid, a match in which Alessandro scored. The 1998 season resembled the previous one in every way: Juve won again in Serie A but lost in the Champions League final against Real Madrid this time, 1-0 on a goal from Predrag Mijatović. The 2005-2006 season was frustrating for Alessandro. Alessandro realizes his dream by being signed to Vecchia Signora, Juventus Football Club, his favorite club. His great-uncle (his grandfather's cousin), Lorenzo Buffon, played goalkeeper with Italy during the 1962 World Cup in Chile. In March 2016, Buffon took the unbeaten record for a goalkeeper in the Italian championship from Sebastiano Rossi. He began playing at Union Conegliano San Vendemiano at age 7, in his village team where, being often ill, his mother forced him to play goalkeeper until his brother took up his defense. During the 1994-1995 season, he contributed, thanks to his talent and his goals (8 in 29 matches), to bringing the Scudetto back to Turin after nine years of drought.
The 2010 – 2011 season saw the establishment of a security policy for the stands at the Parc des Princes, notably with the dissolution of the Boulogne and Auteuil kops supporters' associations, with Robin Leproux establishing a random placement system. ↑ Le Parisien, “PSG: the Ultras return to the Parc des Princes from Saturday”, Le Parisien, September 29, 2016 (read online). From the end of the 1980s, Parisian trips were organized to San Siro, and more precisely to the Curva Sud, the stand where the Fossa dei Leoni was located. Gino, and Bruna Del Piero, Alessandro, born November 9, 1974, followed the Turinese Juventus and their French star of the team Michel Platini from a very young age. On November 8, 1998, Del Piero seriously injured his knee during the Udinese-Juventus match and remained away from football fields for almost nine months. A few months later, in July 2012, he was summoned to play in the Argentine U20 selection. After a very difficult start to the 2000-2001 season on the pitch, Del Piero was touched deep within himself. Author of a dazzling season, to the point that "the status" of best player in the world was disputed that year between him and "Il Fenomeno" Ronaldo, he scored 32 goals including 21 in the league and 10 in the Champions League of which he is the top scorer.
On October 2, 2012, during the first Champions League match played in the Juventus stadium, Bonucci scored a splendid goal resulting in a 1-1 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk. Under the orders of Thomas Tuchel, he scored his first goal with PSG during a victory in Turkey against Galatasaray (0-1) in the Champions League, on the occasion of his third meeting with the French club. He had a good season, particularly in the Champions League, where Juventus won the second European Cup in its history by beating Ajax Amsterdam on penalties. Even if he did not score in the final played in Rome, Alessandro contributed to Turin's triumph by scoring numerous goals during the competition, and in particular a free kick which allowed Juve to eliminate Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.. Despite this defeat in the final and an injury which affected his performances during the World Cup, the 1997-1998 season remains one of Alessandro's finest. France, but also by an elimination in the round of 16 in the European Cup against FC Barcelona, despite having won the first leg 4-0. However, he remained in his position the following season.
Quickly, the number 16 (he will recover the number 10 from Baggio the following season) imposes itself on Juventus, which already counts on a formidable trio of attackers: Roberto Baggio, Gianluca Vialli and Fabrizio Ravanelli. Broćić's playing tactic at the Old Lady was a very defensive 5-3-2, playing on the counter-attacks of the formidable attacking pair of the Charles-Sivori era. Juve becomes Italian champions again, the Del Piero-Trezeguet pair is particularly effective: 40 goals between them. Despite a more than stormy understanding between the two men, Del Piero once again achieved a great championship, scoring 14 goals and contributing, with an assist, a returned cross for a header from Trezeguet, to the 1-0 victory against at Milan, and thus obtaining the club's 28th scudetto (subsequently canceled). He then moved to the higher category with the team from Conegliano, his hometown. This cruel defeat deeply marks the club, which no longer manages to win a major title in the decade, whether in the league, where it suffers the domination of Real Madrid, or in European competitions. Despite this defeat, two successes against England and Italy allowed the South Americans to finish second in Group D, one point behind Costa Rica.
